    Terrible experience I filled out paperwork to be a patient Waited 3 months for appointment went to appt and was told they do not accept myou insurance, cash up front in full only Receptionists were rude and dishonest. They do not follow their own policy. I filed complaint and was told they have multiple complaints for malpractice

    I m wondering if something got missed when I had my last 2 filling appointments as I seem the be having more discomfort then I believe I should be having after the filling have been completed.. Please advise

Community Dental - Portland provides the following health services:

Dental Services.

Hours:

Mondays through Fridays 8:00am - 4:30pm.

A full range of oral health care is provided at the Center, including restorations (tooth fillings), crowns, full and partial dentures, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, pedodontics and preventive care (teeth cleanings).

Patient population is diverse and includes immigrant special needs, all age groups, HIV/AIDS patients, and people with dental anxiety.

Patients with dental emergencies can usually be treated within 24 hours.

Accept most private insurance plans and MaineCare, and a sliding fee scale is available for patients who meet the financial eligibility requirements.

Care Credit is also provided to eligible patients as a payment option and accept all major credit cards for payments.

The Portland Center partners with the City of Portland School Oral Health Program and Headstart to provide restorative dental services and a dental home to students identified as needing dental services.

Provide care for patients living in local group homes and participate in the Cumberland County Denture Project.

Also receive funding from the United Way of Greater Portland to provide patient assistance fund.
