  1. Jan 16, 2020

I saw Dr. G. Le on Tuesday, January14, 2020. It was the WORST dental experience that I have ever had in my 47 1/2 years on this Earth! This dentist walked into the area where I was on the chair waiting to be seen and looked at my X-rays that the tech had just taken. She very gruffly asked what issues I was having then she proceeded to do the exam of my mouth/teeth. She pushed very hard on a very tender spot in my mouth which happened to be a pocket of infection. Then she gave me the 3 choices that I could handle my 2 infected teeth. 1) root canal/ crown and that my insurance might not pay, 2) she could pull the 2 teeth right then and there, or 3) do nothing. I asked if she could prescribe an antibiotic so it could help take care of the infection and so I could have a little time to make an informed decision. Also I needed time to contact my insurance company to see what would be covered. She rolled her eyes at me and acted ticked because I wanted an antibiotic! She said VERY CONDESCENDINGLY, “that is not going to fix your teeth!” I said, “but it will help with the infection!” At this point she had me so upset. She acted like my questioning her was not ok! She wanted me to just tell her which of her three options I wanted to do. Like I was taking up too much of her precious time! At this point I looked at her and said, “you are not being very kind to me!” I said, “you have not even introduced yourself to me or smiled at me at all for that matter!” She said, “ it is not my job to smile! It is my job to tell you what is wrong with your teeth!” At this point her manager came over to see what was going on. She said, “is there a problem here?” I said, “yes! She has been rude to me since she walked into this area!” She said, “ I heard everything! Hasn’t she told you what is wrong with your teeth and has she given you a treatment plan?” I said to her, “well, I can see that you are going to say she did nothing wrong and side with your staff so I am done!” I looked at the Dr. Le and said, “ are you going to give me an antibiotic or not?” The manager said, “didn’t she already say that she is not going to prescribe any antibiotics for you?” I said, “no! Actually she just said that it will not fix my teeth! I thought you said you heard everything!” The manager said,” Lisa, you need to leave!” I said, “ trust me, I am!” i turned around to leave and saw every dentist stopped working on the patient they were supposed to be working on and they were all watching what was going on! I looked at them and said, “ did you all like the show! Shouldn’t you be taking care of your patients!” I never saw so many dentists turn so quickly and pretend like they are working!! They basically escorted me out of the examining area! I got out to the waiting room and told my 3 sons that it was time to go. My 1 son asked me what was wrong and I started telling him what just went down! The manager came out because she did not like me saying how terribly I just got treated in front of all the people in the waiting room!! She started telling me to leave and was VERY OBNOXIOUS about it! My son told her she was a terrible person and she told us to leave again! Trust me...we were on our way out! All of this happened because I asked if she could prescribe me an antibiotic and she rolled her eyes at me!! I should have the right to ask why a medical professional is being rude to me! Trust me, if you were there and saw how unprofessional she was to me, it was just appalling!! I treat people with respect and kindness! Any one of the many doctors that I see can attest to my kindness and respect that I have for them and show them! I only gave this place a 1 star because there were a few nice staff members that I encountered!
