Non profit organization that has a health and dental clinic.

The Dental Clinic strives to provide services one day per week (each Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon) under the direction of a dentist and dental hygienist.

Community dentists volunteer their time and services at the weekly clinic with the main objective being to alleviate pain and provide self-sufficiency to patients.

As the Dental Clinic is operated under the care of Volunteer Dentists, it is recommended you call to confirm the calendar for upcoming dental sessions.

There is a limit on the number of patients seen at each clinic.

To be Eligible for Services:

Persons must be 10 - 64 years of age.
Non-childbearing or childbearing who do not meet Health Department requirements.
Employed, actively seeking employment (as verified from the employment office), or enrolled in school.
Without a regular healthcare provider and without healthcare benefits.

Services Provided:


  • General physical examinations

  • Treatment of common illnesses

  • Blood Pressure screening/monitoring

  • Cholesterol screening/monitoring

  • Referrals to medical specialists

  • Medication Assistance Program

  • Laboratory diagnostics

  • Tooth Extractions



Services for the Health Clinic are provided three days per week and the Dental Clinic strives to provide services one day per week.

The Community Health and Dental Clinic serves a five-county area including:

Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence and Marion Counties.

Cost of Services:

Health Clinic: $15 per patient visit
Dental Clinic: $25 for the first tooth extracted;
$15 for each additional extraction
