Hometown Health Center provides the following health services:

There are comprehensive on-site dental services available to provide primary and/or preventative dental care to the Centers patient population. The on-site dental professionals provide pediatric dental and oral health services. 

HHC counsels its patients on the necessity of accessing preventative dental care. Patients are provided with information on available services, the importance of dental care, and its relation to other underlying health care issues. 

Pediatric testing is provided through a cooperative agreement with Schenectady County Public Health Department to test at risk children for elevated blood lead levels. All children are offered pediatric vision and hearing screenings.  

The HHC Dental Outreach team visits 17 schools located within Schenectady County. Hygienists use portable dental equipment that is easily transported by a private mover to each site. The program is highly recognized by the Schenectady City School District.  The hygienists are very flexible with the school schedule and always attempt to meet the needs of the student and teacher.

How am I expected to pay? What are the costs for services. Is this discounted or based on income? What Documents am I required to provide? Do you need me to provide income statements in order to verify discounts, mail to provide residency? How are the instruments sterilized? Heat sterilization is very important for all instruments. If you are not comfortable with their answer, you can choose another office.
