The Dental Hygiene Clinic is open late August through late April to community adults and children of at least 4 years old, students, faculty and staff of the Lima Campus.

Patients are invited to make an appointment by calling the dental hygiene secretary at 419-995-8346.

Appointments must be made in advance.

Hours:

Monday through Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm.
Clinic hours vary each term.

Preventive services provided by students:

Oral prophylaxis (scaling & polishing)
Oral radiographs (x-rays)
Dental sealants and fluorides
Health screenings
Oral examinations
Dental health instructions
Ultrasonic scaling
Nutritional counseling
Diabetic screening
Subgingival irrigation
Tooth desensitization
Topical Anesthetic
Study Models
Cleaning of dentures

Fee Summary:

$15.00 includes oral prophylaxis, bitewing radiographs, fluoride treatment and dental health instructions.

$15.00 complete series of radiographs

$15.00 panoramic radiographs

$ 5.00 per dental sealant

No fee for patients on Medicaid or ADC when valid cards are presented at initial appointment.

Golden Buckeye cards and Ohio Kids Card are honored.

No fee for Lima Campus students and employees for prophylaxis and bitewing radiographs.

The Dental Hygiene Clinic is located on the first floor of Cook Hall (next to the library).
