    I have had the MOST aggravating experiences with Lone Star Dental and eligibility services. I simply needed a crown for my chipped tooth. First I had to apply and wait to be seen for financial reasons and was given a 2 week eligible card. I was told to email Yvonne the eligibilty manager the rest of the documents needed and so I did. I didn't recieve a email back so I definitely knew I needed to be there early for my dental appointment which was scheduled 1 day after the 2 week card expired. I arrived early met Yvonne because I hadn't been able to get any one to answer my question on the phone. She said you need to bring me the application back today and fill another one out. Omg okay. I go to my appointment and they say okay it'll be $$ I pay and then she says no work will be done today. I said really not even a cleaning? She said no that's not how we work. Why was this not told to me before. So i just paid for an appointment and I wouldn't receive anything no kind of dental treatment. What a WASTE of my time. The whole ordeal has been difficult at this point I will just get on dental insurance and go to a BETTER DENTAL CLINIC. They are absolutley absurd.

    I need a root canal and crown done. My local private practice dentist quoted me just under $3000. I cannot put together that much money out of all my checking, savings and credit cards. I am already struggling to pay my current bills each month, I cannot take on another financed monthly obligation. I do not have health or dental insurance. Where can I get some help with this health issue? I can probably swing $200-300 co-pay at the time of the procedure. Thanks
