    You have a receptionist there who I went and stood in front of her window and she continued on with her computer, ignoring me for over seven minutes, not a hello, what can we help you with ,not sit down and I’ll call you up as soon as I can get into my computer. Nothing, and when I finally addressed her, she told me well I’m on my computer and I can’t get in it as a receptionist. She has no business being there at that window. That is the only skill that she should be interested in when a mother is standing in front of her with a child in pain in the car. Bad experience.

Atascosa Health Center, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and provides services to all. The mission of the AHC is to provide accessible, comprehensive health promotion and quality care services to all residents of Atascosa, Karnes, Live Oak, McMullen and Wilson Counties. AHC achieves this mission with a network of four rural health clinics. AHC is a nonprofit rural health care network with a 35 year history of providing quality health care including dental and behavioral health services.

AHC provides a sliding fee discount program for services based upon income and number of family members. Sliding fee discount is confidential and persons applying for the discount must provide documentation of income such as employee paycheck stubs, government benefits, etc.
