I was put on a waiting list for an exam and cleaning at Paco-Hernando State College Clinic in New Port Richey. I got a call from them a few months later. It was around 7:45 am. They asked me if I could come over right away. They had previously called another applicant's name by accident around the same time. So I was prepared to go as soon as possible for the appointment. I was glad they are down on Ridge Road about 15-20 minutes away. I got there soon enough to park in one of their lots that were not filled up yet. Anyway, after filling out the intake form and paying $25, I was escorted into the large, very clean dental classroom. I have only 7 teeth left, otherwise I might have been there the rest of the day. Of course, all the students wore masks while working. Had a really sweet female student who was very thorough and supervised by a very experienced dentist whom I felt was retired and doing this to keep himself busy. I was asked to show them how I brushed and flossed using a mirror. Then they showed me the correct way. By the time I was done, I felt like I was a student myself. I was told that it wouldn't be necessary to come in every six months. So I hope to go back next year.

I underwent 3 days of intensive cleaning over the last 2 weeks at the Pasco Hernando college dental Hygienist school. I couldn't of asked for better care. The young lady, Brittney who worked on my teeth was amazing. In fact all the members of this school, Students, Hygienists and Doctors were great. Thank you all for helping me on my journey toward a lung transplant.....
